It's the little things...

You can slowly change your body by training yourself to adapt new habits as apart of your lifestyle!
This week try not to eat after 8pm! Or It is challenging at first, but it is all about forming habits and dedicating yourself.
Eating late night is when you gain the most weight! Try not to eat before sleep. I am going to try to post one little change to make a week.

DO IT!

Feeling defeated

I'm new to blogging so, I am not sure if I am doing it right or even make sense half the time. I want to share with others things I do to be more fit in my everyday. I hope to stick to this blog through my personal training.
I have really become interested in personal training as  a career. It is a little bit scary to think about me being a personal trainer. What is a goal if it isn't a little bit scary?
Anyway I have a really great oppertunity right now! Some how in all the bad this showed up. I had been applying at gyms so I can get my foot in the door and start off. But no such luck for a couple months! Then one day I got an email from a gym in a town about 30 mins away. I was in!
I thought the position was for a front desk person, I was wrong. The position was for a personal trainer! However, I dont have my personal training certification. So the deal is I will start "shadowing" the trainers. Once I get my certification, I can be hired on as a trainer!
What a GREAT opportunity! I cant even describe how lucky I feel!! I am so excited! All I need is $500 more to pay for the classes! :/ That's really hard to save!
However, in the midst of the excitement, I cant help but feel like something is going to go wrong. Most things do go wrong in my life.  Instead of complaining about it I have learned to accept the things going wrong. But I want this so bad! I want a destination to be filled! I want direction! A hope that I wont be working 3 jobs forever! A hope that heart ach will go away...
Feeling not as happy as I look.

Yoga Excursion

A good friend of mine has been doing what she calls "#inversionexcursion" on Instagram. What you do is anytime you do an inversion, standing on your hands or forearms, have someone take your picture and post it to your instagram.  Easier said than done however, it will take a lot of practice but sounds like a fun journey.
I am just trying starting to get into yoga and am excited to start trying something new and find out what my body can accomplish! I hope you feel like a challenge, try it along with us!

One easy, small change to your lifestyle.

I always knew grapefruits were good for you, so I did some research because it's smart to know what you are eating.  Grapefruit has become my favorite drink and food.
There are so many benefits to eating or drinking grapefruits why wouldnt you eat it?! I sometimes drink grapefruit juice a couple times a day! I splash a tablespoon of Apple Cider vinegar and a tablespoon of honey, mix it up! Makes it not taste so tart.
Grapefruit can help stop an itchy mosquito bite by rubbing the peel right on the bite! Easy as that! Grapefruits have heeling, anti-oxidant properties that also help with dry, rashy skin.  As well as, helping to prevent wrinkles! Just rub the peel right on your face to cleanse. I like it because my skin feels sooo refreshed!
Adding grapefruit to your diet is an easy way to increase your water intake for the day! Bam! Just like THAT!
Challenge yourself to add grapefruit to your diet and see how you feel!

Fruit infused h20!!!

Sometimes water can get boring to always be drinking. Try adding a few strawberries, blueberries, lemons or any other combination. Let me know your finds!:)

Apple Cider Vinegar

There are tons of benefits to drinking apple cider vinegar. Apple cider vinegar helps with tummy problems or cramps because of the antibiotic properties. Mix a couple tablespoons with some water. I like to mix a couple tablespoons with grapefruit juice and a tablespoon of honey. (More later why honey and grapefruit juice is good for you!!)
Can't get rid of your hiccups? Instead of a "spoon full of sugar, try a spoon full of Apple Cider! BAM!! CURED!
I try to drink my apple cider vinegar  at least 30 minutes before meals, or at least before breakfast! Drinking before meals helps with indigestion and digestion.
The winter time brings out stuffy noses and sore throats, mix a couple tablespoons with HOT water! This combination helps drain your sinuses, keeping you feeling healthy!! With sore throats, gargle the mixture every couple hours! Turns out, most germs can't survive in the acidic environment vinegar creates!
Exercise and sometimes extreme stress cause lactic acid to build up in the body causing fatigue. Interestingly, the amino acids contained in apple cider vinegar act as an antidote. Apple cider vinegar contains potassium and enzymes that may relieve that "tired feeling".
I have some family that get late night leg cramps, I personally don't get those but after doing some research I found that it is supposed to help! Of course, by the time you walk to the kitchen to put the drink together, your cramp is likely to be history-but maybe that is the point! :)
Gargling apple cider vinegar removes teeth stains for brighter, whiter smiles!
After all these benefits to drinking just a little bit of apple cider vinegar a day it also helps burn fat stored in the body!
Try drinking a little bit and let me know what other drink combinations you come up with.

Get moving!

Lifting weights will not make a woman bulky, you may however find yourself with a nicer butt toned abs, strength, confidence, and a positive outlook. Whatever you decide to do just try to move for 30 minutes a day! Remember the feeling you get after a really good workout! How awesome you feel about yourself and how much energy you have. During the workout, the pain is only temporary, but the results will be worth it! Find what will motivate you and ALWAYS remember that and KEEP GOING!

Get up everyday and MOVE!!!
